Planning a sundae bar with the help of Smucker’s and Walmart

The J.M. Smucker Company sent me free product samples and asked me to blog about this product. However all opinions are all my own. Pinky Promise!

This past weekend I somehow ended up with a house full of kids between my kids and the friends of my kids and I thought we should make a delicious treat for them. Since I was already out running some errands with Chandler I decided what better time to swing into Walmart to get some goodies because I needed to stop somewhere that I could get a lot of supplies at a decent price!

We decided that we would make a Halloween sundae bar for our guests. We started out by locating the ice cream isle and grabbing some traditional vanilla ice cream, and the biggest one we could find because we had some hungry teens waiting. We then moved onto locating the Smucker’s ice cream toppings which happened to be conveniently located on the same isle as the ice cream.  We stood there for about 10 minutes trying to decide which flavors we were going to choose, ultimately we chose strawberry, hot fudge and caramel because those are really traditional flavors that we felt would be huge hits. Though it was all I could do not to grab up their Funfetti vanilla cake Magic Shell as well!Smuckers at Walmart

While we were there deciding on a syrup flavor we also noticed that there were small waffle cone bowls that would be perfect for ice cream sundaes. I also made sure grab some small tupperware to use to hold all of our toppings so that whenever we were done we would be able to easily clean up our mess.

On the way out we swung by the Halloween department that was on the way out the door and grabbed some cookies, candy corn, Halloween themed sprinkles, table confetti, and some colored spoons to keep it fun. It really couldn’t have been easier to grab everything that I needed to make a really great Halloween themed sundae bar for the kids and their friends!
