2015 Summer bucket list

Typically my kids go to Florida to visit with their grandparents for a month each Summer but this year since they do not want to be away from their friends so long the kids will be staying home. So I decided that we needed a Summer bucket list this year!

Bike 10 consecutive miles.

Have a old movie marathon.

Scavenger hunt.

Take a photo every single day for the months of June and July.

Have a picnic on the waterfront.

Make a time capsule.

Decorate the sidewalk with chalk.

Make s’mores.

Go people watching at the mall.

Discover a new park.

Write a handwritten letter to someone.

Surprise lunch with John at work with the kids.

Go to a movie night at the Jeffersonville Riverstage.

Go on a hike.

Watch fireworks.

Visit a farmers market.

Go on a date with John (at least once).

live in the moment

The kids are older this year and pretty much full fledged teens so it might be hard to get them to participate in all of these, but thats fine I might even get to enjoy some a lone time doing some of these things!

Tell me… Whats on your Summer bucket list for this year?

  1. What a great list! I think the biggest thing on mine will be to go see a minor league baseball game at the park that just opened today (we’re big baseball fans) and to go camping at Ft. Pickens, FL. I’m ready to be out in nature and enjoying the beach!

    Stopping by from Sharefest!
