Watercolor Easter Eggs

We don’t decorate or hunt Easter eggs anymore, but after seeing all the awesome Easter eggs all over Pinterest and the blogs I decided that I MUST make some. Just for fun.

Naturally Jayde was all game and the boys want nothing at all to do with it. Which was fine by me because I was able to get some quiet time with Jayde just letting all of our creative juices flowing. I whipped out the water colors and some marker and we just started painting with nothing in mind. She made some adorable eggs with face, actually she even made an our family as an egg family complete with December! I went for more dots and line for my eggs, and I love how they turned out.

This method was SO much easier and hands or surfaces were left dyed and the clean up was super easy.Watercolor easter eggsI sort of want to make some more using watercolor paint along with some other stuff as well, like glitter or other types of paint. Maybe next year.
