Valentine’s Day with Shutterfly

Each year my kids get two school class parties, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Their Valentine’s Day party is the only party in which the children are encouraged to exchange gifts and Valentine’s cards, making the Valentine’s Day class party much more special than the Christmas party. The kids love it because they are able to make or buy unique Valentine’s Day cards that are fit their personality and style perfectly. Each year it is something different, and it seems that each year the Valentine’s Day card are more and more fancy. No more are those days of just simple cards, now its cards with full sized candy and toys attached. It leaves me wondering just what kinds of Valentine’s the children will be passing out this year.

While there are a bunch of DIY Valentine’s available online, and there are also so pretty adorable  Valentine’s that I have found on Pinterest that the kids could make. But lets be honest here, who has time to sit down with all three kids to print and make, or just make your own Valentine’s? I know I do not. I want something that is nice looking and suits my kids style, as well as my wallets style.

I think that Shutterfly is the way to go for us this year, they have a ton of really adorable (and customizable) photo gifts for Valentine’s Day.  Tons, and tons of Valentine’s cards, that you can make customize just for your little one. I especially love the “Yoooou ArRRRrrr great” Stationary Cards, because they are just the right amount of Valentine’s Day without losing that “manly” element that my boys enjoy. No seriously, have you ever taken a little boy shopping for Valentine’s Day cards? Its brutal. Either its too boyish and looks nothing like something like a Valentine’s Day card, or its too girly looking. With one of these cards from Shutterfly we can even add my boys’ picture so that it is even more “manly”.

Don’t worry though, there are also a bunch of adorable card perfect for your little princess. Jayde sat down with me and picked out the Striped Love Valentine’s Card. I love it because the majority of the card is a photo, and if you have ever seen a photo of my Jayde you know that she is gorgeous (naturally I say that right?). Seriously though I love the design of this card, and I am so thankful that she almost instantly found a really adorable card on Shutterfly’s website!

I am happy to say that this year my kids will not be passing out those cheesy cartoon character Valentine’s Day cards. This year our cards will be AWESOME.
