I have always been a fan of easy and healthy meals. So when I heard that Progresso has two new Light creamy soups- Creamy Potato with Bacon and Cheese and Light Chicken Pot Pie. I knew they were something that my family would enjoy.
I decided that they would be perfect to be served on nights that my husband worked late, as a dinner for the kids. They were super excited to try the Light Chicken Pot Pie. They really adore chicken pot pies in their traditional form, so I was a little unsure if they would still like it in soup form. So I served it over top of rice. I was surprised by the amount of vegetables that were in the soup, it was very hearty. The kids enjoyed the soup very much, even though it was exactly what they were expecting (they were still expecting a traditional pot pie), but they gobbled it all up very quickly, even the vegetables. They even asked for seconds, luckily that can holds way more than it looks like so all three of them were able to make a meal out of a single can. Thats pretty impressive if you ask me.
