Whats for Lunch 8/31

Well, we survived the second week of school and here is what the kids took this week.

Monday: PB&J roll ups (while they were adorable Jayde refused to eat them because they were “weird”, and yet Chandler adored them) , cucumbers (a favorite here) with italian dressing to dip them in, apple rice quakes, cheese cubes, and oranges. I also started including jokes in place of my everyday notes I send so that I alternate between notes and jokes. The jokes were a HUGE hit.
Tuesday: PB&J (Oops just realized I sent that two days in a row), goldfish, kiwi, and organic fruit nuggets (another favorite here).
Wednesday: Elbow noodles with spaghetti sauce, carrots with ranch, bologna, and mini graham crackers.
Thursday: Bologna sandwiches with mayo and mustard, teddy grahams, and apples/oranges.
Friday: Breakfast for lunch-ish sausage and egg sandwiches, cucumbers and tomatoes with italian dressing (I accidentally poured too much) and mini grahams.

I noticed that I doubled up on the PB&J and bologna this week, so that means next week I need to plan a little better so that I can keep lunch time interesting.

On a side note, Ethan, my non bento friendly kid has said that he thinks he might want to actually take a bento lunch next week. So heres hoping.

The lunches you pack your kids are so creative and fun. My lunches never looked that good when I was in school ;-) I’m your newest follower. Thanks so much for stopping by Posed Perfection yesterday and leaving me a sweet comment about the Chicken Ranch Wrap. I hope you’ll visit again and maybe even follow me back. Have a great week!
    Blessings,
