Flowers: Show them you care

I was just looking over at the only house plant that I own. An easter lily that a close friend sent me last year  because of my Mothers passing. I was remembering how beautiful it was whenever it arrived with gorgeous white flowers.

That made me think how wonderful it was to receive flowers to know that someone was thinking of me, even if it wasn’t for the most happiest of circumstances. I think that often times people only think of sending flowers because it is a special occasion or because something sad has happened. But how amazing would it feel to get/give flowers to a loved one just because.  What an awesome way to show someone you care and are thinking about them  than to have beautiful flowers delivered to their doorstep!

Personally most of the people that I care most about live very far (thousands of miles away) and flowers are a  great way to let them know that they are still on my mind. I was checking out the Teleflora.com website since I cant just walk into a florist locally and order some.

I was pleased to see that you can log into their website with your Facebook (I’m all about easy log ins!) and you can even have flowers delivered to your loved one the same day from a local florist, at no additional charge. That means fresh flowers. So, guys, no excuses.  If that isn’t enough, they have a really great flower guide that will help you find the right flowers for the occasion.

Oh, and if you need someone special to send flowers to, my birthday is Saturday (September 1st). Just saying.
