As a busy mom you better bet that I am forever looking for healthy snacks on the go. So when I heard about Fiber One’s newest creation, Fiber One Chewy bars in Chocolate and Strawberry PB&J varieties I knew it was something I needed to try fast. Especially after trying the Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds.
All three kids instantly swarmed to the box of PB&J (naturally) and loved the peanut butter coated bottom. Personally though I LOVED the Chocolate, with the yummy chocolate drizzled all on top, and chocolate coated bottom it was so good. I felt like it had a slight honey taste (which I loved) even though the kids didnt notice the taste. With chewy bars having only 110 calories or less bars contain fiber and calcium kids need , no gross high fructose corn syrup, and 8 grams or less of sugar I didnt feel any guilt eating these chewy bars.
I love that even though they are healthy and absolutely delicious that they make a great snack, especially for after school. However, I love packing them in my children’s bento lunches. They fit just perfectly in their bento boxes! Also they are a great alternative for the traditional PB&J treat that my kids ask for every single day, so that I can put something else as the “main” part of their lunch.

Fiber One is great! Their original cereal is wonderful for grinding up to use as breading or crusts. They have delicious bars and brownies and now chewy granola bars, too. I can’t wait for my grandson to try the strawberry pb&j that is his favorite sandwich.
