Last week I totally missed out on Menu Plan Monday, and it seriously threw my menu plan out of wack. Never break routine. It messes up everything. I went grocery shopping on Friday and took a handwritten list (instead of my normal list in reminders) and realized after I got inside the store that I only had HALF of my list. Long story short, I spent most of Friday shopping. Not fun.
Monday: *JAYDES BIRTHDAY!* Lasagna, salad and garlic bread (per her request)
Tuesday: Pizza Night
Wednesday: Chili and corn bread (also spaghetti noodles for the kids)
Thursday: Pulled pork, corn on the cobb, baked beans, and Kale.
Friday: Salad bar and subs
Saturday: Lemon pepper chicken, homemade mac n cheese, corn and green beans
Sunday: Baked chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries, salad
In related news, we have swapped out pizza night Fridays for Tuesdays. I felt it would be something to look forward to during the school week. This might change if it doesn’t work out. This also means left over pizza for the next day at school.
