No. You’re doing it all wrong.

This picture blew your mind didn’t it? I first saw it on Gizmodo, but after reading I realized they snagged it from FoodBeast.com and removed their watermark, tsk tsk Gizmodo. Back to the picture, can you believe we’ve been using our ketchup wrong this entire time? Me either.

Basically if you fan the ketchup cup, super slowly (and I do mean slowly or you will rip it) and pull apart the cup in a fanning like motion, you can fill it  with almost double the ketchup that it would normally hold.

So last night at Burger King, I totally blew Johns mind with this trick. He was a skeptic though, and swears that it isn’t meant to be used this way (even though he admittedly loved it). I guess it is really irrelevant if its “meant” to be used this way or not, because its works and allows you to get a boatload of ketchup.

But to please John though, or to at least set his mind as ease, or to prove me right (whichever applies), does anyone know if this is a legit use? or just a really epic cheat?

Also while we were at Burger King we witness the single grossest thing I have EVER seen at a restaurant (yes, it was BK, but still some standards must apply).  And if you are wondering, I did consider blurring out her face, but I figured two things: 1.) She had to know that by doing this she was going to end up on “People of Burger King” or something. 2.) She clearly could care less.

In this lady’s defense the whole place was pretty much what I thought Kentucky would be like before moving here. You know, the accents, loud country music, terribly behaved kids running wild (not mine), shoeless people running wild. The whole thing was a hot mess, next time I will just cook dinner at home. Never thought I would say that.
