I came across this really great site, so good I couldn’t pass up sharing with you guys.
I don’t know about you guys, but I love saving money. Especially with three kids who over use everything. Seriously have you ever seen a 10 year old clean a kitchen counter? Half a bottle of Clorox cleaner later it might be clean. Thats where I look for a way to save money on products I love.
Thats when I came across Fake-It Frugal, who has who has recipes that mimic your favorite products. Like the “fake” Clorox clean up for just 0.02 cents per bottle or the “fake” Betty Crocker cookie mixes for just 0.30 cents each! I spent last night admiring all of the brilliant recipes and ways to save money on things we use every day. More than likely I will spend a good chunk of today making up some of the mixes as well.
Take a moment to see if she has made a “Fake-It” for your favorite product. I know a few of mine are on this list.

Hello.
Visiting from the post A-Z Road Trip.
I’m a terrible waster…can’t help it. Drives my wife crazy since she’s the neat, organized and frugal one in the family. Guess I’m just not as disciplined as her, but I’m trying. Good luck! Thanks for sharing.
