So I finished the first book off of my book bucket list. I started with Jenny Lawson’s Let’s Pretend This Never Happened: (A Mostly True Memoir). I expected that this book was going to be good just based on how awesome her blog is, however I don’t think I fully expected the things I read inside of this book.
This book was also the first book Ive ever bought/read on iBooks, which meant I could read this book anywhere and everywhere. And I did just that.
The book is a collection of unique experiences from Jenny’s life, growing up as the daughter of a professional taxidermist. It is everything I hoped it would be, each chapter was more surprising than the first. I found it very hard to put down this book. The first few nights I read it I stayed up til 3 am reading.
I highly recommend reading this book, and soon. Be prepared to laugh like you never have at a book!
