Recently we had the pleasure of hosting a Bobble Bots Moshi Monster party. I knew from the moment the box arrived that they would be a HUGE hit. We opened the Ice Scream Store Playset a few days before the party so I could see how they worked. It was adorable, and super easy to put together and the best part is that the road pieces can put together in a ton of different ways. The little Bobble Bots bounce all around the play set. (Check out the video below- but mute your speakers because for some reason my camera made the Bobble Bots sound WAY louder than they really are.)
The day of the party the kids were so pumped to try out the Bobble Bots and build a huge city with their friends. Like us, the other kids hadn’t previously heard about the Bobble Bots Moshi Monsters so they were incredibly curious about what all the fuss was about. They are brand new robotic pets from the people who make HEXBUG’s. With 24 original characters who vibrate themselves throughout their Mostro City! They even have an awesome online community where you can adopt your own Moshi Monster (each set includes secret codes to unlock new online content)! Since building blocks are a big hit around here, and because you’re able to make whatever you like, so I knew they would all enjoy them.
They instantly started attaching the sets and picking their characters they wanted to play with. Did I mention they have awesome names? Ethan adores Dj Quack! The street pieces come with rocks, shrubbery, flowers and even, super adorable lamp posts! The kids sat outside and built their cities, and played, and rebuilt their cities, and played even more, traded Bobble Bots, and then played more! I tried breaking the kids away from the Bobble Bots with brownie bites with yellow white chocolate chips and traditional chocolate chip cookies. They weren’t having it though, I think in all they ate maybe 3 cookies, because they were so wrapped up in playing with the Bobble Bots. I found myself watching the monsters bounce around in and out of each play set, and I have to admit they are quite fun to watch. Most of the kids even proclaimed that they were going to be buying more monsters with their allowance which in itself is HUGE.
Take a moment please and check out their site, they are seriously adorable! Play sets that boys and girls both will enjoy playing together with!
